Hot Summer Nights Myrtle Beach 2026: Live Music & Fireworks

Summer just got a whole lot better. The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance has officially announced that Hot Summer Nights is back at Plyler Park on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, kicking off on June 8, 2026 and running throughout the summer.

This is one of the best free events on the Grand Strand — and it's perfect for families, couples, and anyone who wants to soak up the beach-town atmosphere without spending a dime.

What Is Hot Summer Nights?

Hot Summer Nights is a free, family-friendly entertainment series held right on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk at Plyler Park. The event features live concerts, themed nights, and the signature Wednesday-night fireworks show over the Atlantic Ocean.

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is one of the most scenic spots on the East Coast, and watching fireworks burst over the ocean on a warm Wednesday night is genuinely hard to beat. The concerts cover a range of genres and the crowd is always a great mix of locals and visitors.

Best of all — it's completely free. Parking near the boardwalk fills up fast on concert nights, so plan to arrive by 5:30 PM or use the city parking garages on 9th Avenue North.

Getting There

Plyler Park is located at the heart of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, near the SkyWheel. The boardwalk runs along Ocean Boulevard between 14th Avenue North and 2nd Avenue North.
