SOS — Society of Stranders
The Society of Stranders (SOS) hosts two major shag dancing gatherings each year in North Myrtle Beach — Spring Safari (April) and Fall Migration (September/October). Thousands of shag dancers from across the Southeast descend on Ocean Drive. Fat Harold's, Duck's, and the other Ocean Drive clubs are packed for two weeks. One of the most uniquely South Carolina experiences you can have.
