The Craftsmen's Summer Classic is the move — over 250 artists and makers from across the country set up inside the fully air-conditioned Convention Center with handmade jewelry, pottery, woodwork, paintings, specialty foods, and home décor you actually won't find at any strip mall. This thing has been a Grand Strand staple for years and it draws a real crowd. Tickets are only $5 when you buy online ahead of time. If you're bringing the family or just need to get out of the heat for a few hours, this is a no-brainer.

Parmalee is one of those bands that snuck up on country radio and just never left. Brothers Matt and Scott Thomas out of Pender County, NC — so yeah, this is practically a homecoming show — have racked up over 1.6 billion streams and six number one hits including Carolina, Already Callin It Love, and Take My Name. Their live show is tight and high-energy, and the Alabama Theatre is one of the best rooms on the Strand for sound. If you haven't seen them live yet, this is the one to catch.

The Birds are home all week and there is genuinely no better bang for your buck on the Grand Strand right now. Minor league baseball at Pelican Park is the kind of summer night you remember — affordable tickets, cold beer, and a ballpark that actually has a great view of the sky when the sun goes down. The RiverDogs are in town for a four-game set, so you've got options all week. Wednesday and Thursday are great weeknight options if you want to beat the weekend crowds.
- Hot Summer Nights — Free Concerts on the Boardwalk — Wednesday July 30 & Friday August 1
Hot Summer Nights is back at Plyler Park and it's free — no tickets, no cover, just show up. Live music every Wednesday and Friday evening right on the Boardwalk with the ocean in the background. It's one of those things that locals take for granted until it's over in September, so get out there while the season's still rolling. Grab dinner on the Boardwalk beforehand and make a night of it.
- Little River Band at Carolina Opry — Saturday, August 1
Little River Band is one of those acts that sounds exactly like you remember — Cool Change, Reminiscing, Lonesome Loser, The Night Owls. They've been doing this for 50 years and they still bring it live. The Carolina Opry is a great room for this kind of show — comfortable seats, good sightlines, and an audience that actually knows every word. If you're looking for a Saturday night out that doesn't involve standing in a crowded bar, this is your answer.

If you've ever wanted to see Fleetwood Mac but never got the chance — or if you just want to relive the Rumours era in a room full of people who feel the same way — this is the show.
