Chrome at the Coast: The Grand Strand's Year of Car, Truck & Bike Shows
Every major car, truck, and bike show on the Grand Strand, month by month — Run to the Sun, both bike rallies, Bikefest, Corvettes, Britfest, Mopar Fever Week, Jeep Jam, and more, with dates, locations, and official links.

Some places have a car show. The Grand Strand has a whole calendar of them — classics in March, bikes in May, Corvettes in June, and a fall so packed with chrome that October alone carries four shows in three weeks. If it rolls, rumbles, or shines, there is a week on this coast built around it.
MBU put the full year on one page: every major car, truck, and bike gathering on the Strand, in the order it happens, with the next dates where organizers have posted them. Bookmark it, pick a weekend, and plan around the rumble.
Happening right now: Mopar Fever Week, October 21–25, 2026
This guide goes live in the middle of one of its own entries. Mopar Fever Week, run by the nonprofit 8Fo3 Mopars, is on the Strand right now, Wednesday October 21 through Sunday October 25. The week kicked off at South Strand Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Pawleys Island, with cruise nights and an after-party at the Boathouse, a Halloween light show Friday night at the Beaver Bar, and the big one — Show Day, Saturday October 24 at the Boathouse — before a farewell coffee cruise in Conway on Sunday. Every Mopar Fever Week event is listed day by day on What's Poppin, and the organizer's full schedule is at 8fo3mopars.org.
One thing worth knowing before the comments start: there are two Mopar weeks on the Strand, run by two different outfits. Mopar Fever Week (8Fo3 Mopars) is the one happening now. Mopars at the Beach is a separate, long-running charity week with different organizers — recent editions have run in the fall with a show at Myrtle Waves. Both do good work; they are not the same event, and MBU keeps them listed separately.

March — Run to the Sun Car & Truck Show
The year starts with the biggest one. The Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show takes over the old Myrtle Square Mall site at 2501 N. Kings Highway for three days — the 38th annual runs Thursday March 18 through Saturday March 20, 2027, 8 AM to 5 PM each day. Registration is capped at 3,200 vehicles, 1989 and older only, and the show has sold out year after year — truck folks, take note, because this is a car and truck show, and the vintage pickups get their own share of the 56 acres. Spectators park at Myrtle Beach Pelicans Stadium and ride the city buses in. Registration and spectator tickets are online only through the official site, runtothesuncarshow.com, and the 50/50 raffle supports Children's Miracle Network at McLeod Children's Hospital. If a vehicle only gets one weekend out of the garage all year, around here, this is usually it.
May — Spring Rally and Bikefest: the Strand runs on two wheels
Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally, May 7–16, 2027. Ten days, Strand-wide, with the south end — Murrells Inlet and the Inlet square — as the beating heart of it. The Spring Rally is a riding event first: poker runs, guided rides, vendor rows at the dealerships and the big rally bars, and a coastline full of bikes from Little River to Georgetown. Official dates and the event schedule live at myrtlebeachbikeweek.com.
Two weeks later, Atlantic Beach Bikefest takes Memorial Day weekend — in 2027, Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 31. Bikefest, also known as Black Bike Week, started in 1980 in Atlantic Beach, the historic Black beach town tucked inside North Myrtle Beach, and it has grown into the largest African American motorcycle rally in the country. The riding, the custom bikes, and the styling are the show; the town's own page is at townofatlanticbeachsc.com. Between the two rallies, May is the loudest month on the Grand Strand calendar, and MBU means that as a compliment.
June — Corvettes at the Beach
Summer opens with America's sports car. The Myrtle Beach Corvette Club's Corvettes at the Beach fills the Broadway at the Beach lots in early June — the 2026 edition ran Saturday, June 6, with a Friday-night dinner party the evening before — and it is the club's biggest fundraiser for its local charities. Every generation of Corvette shows up, from chrome-bumper C2s to the newest mid-engine cars, and spectator admission at past editions has been free. The club posts each year's date and registration at myrtlebeachcorvetteclub.com.
September — Fords at the Shore: the Ford week that filled the void
When Mustang Week left, the Strand did not leave Ford folks hanging for long. Fords at the Shore rolled in over Labor Day weekend 2026 for its inaugural run — nine days, Saturday September 5 through Sunday September 13, 2026 — open to everything Ford-powered: Mustangs of every era, classic and modern Fords, Lincolns, Mercurys, Broncos, and Ford trucks. The week spread across Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, and Murrells Inlet with car shows, cruises, and gatherings, a special appearance by the 815-horsepower Ford Mustang GTD, and a police-escorted Ocean Boulevard Cruise Revival that put classic cars back on the Boulevard strip with the SkyWheel as the backdrop. The week's anchor event was the 16th Annual Grand Strand Stampede All-Ford Show, Saturday September 12 at Broadway at the Beach — the local show that now sits at the center of a full Ford week built around it.
The context, because locals deserve it straight: Mustang Week is no longer a Myrtle Beach event. After more than two decades on the Strand, it moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and ran there August 24–29, 2026, anchored at Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway (the organizers' announcement is at mustangweek.com). Fords at the Shore is the local answer — created to fill exactly that void, with its first year in the books. Watch for its 2027 dates; if the inaugural run was the trial, the Strand just got its Ford week back.
Late September – early October — the Fall Rally
The riding year closes the way it opened. The Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally — the 2026 edition ran September 25 through October 4 — is the Spring Rally's mellower brother: same Murrells Inlet hub, same dealership and rally-bar circuit, cooler weather, thinner crowds. Riders planning a trip back will find MBU's year-round Grand Strand Rider Directory built for exactly that, and the official site posts the fall dates when they are set — as of October 2026, the 2027 fall dates were still to be announced, so check myrtlebeachbikeweek.com before booking around them.
October — Britfest: small cars, long history, free to watch
The Grand Strand British Car Club's Britfest takes The Market Common on the first Saturday of October — the 2026 show ran Saturday, October 3, 9 AM to 4 PM, rain or shine, at 965 Johnson Avenue. MGs, Triumphs, Minis, Jaguars, and British motorcycles, with spectator admission free, plus an English tea and a Best Hat competition that the club takes exactly as seriously as it should. It is the quietest show on this calendar and one of the most charming — a Saturday morning at Market Common with coffee and a field of cars that leak oil and character in equal measure.
October — Cruisin' the Beach, and the trucks ride along
Back at Broadway at the Beach in mid-October, Cruisin' the Beach runs three days — the 2026 edition was October 15–17 — and it is the most wide-open show of the year: all cars and trucks, all years, makes, and models, judged with Top 100 awards. Truck folks get a show inside the show here, because the C-10s at the Beach gathering for classic Chevy and GMC pickups runs right alongside it. If Run to the Sun is the purists' weekend, Cruisin' the Beach is everybody's.
Late October into November — Jeep Jam closes the season
The show year ends in the mud. The 9th Annual Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam, presented by Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep, runs Friday October 30 through Sunday November 1, 2026, back at the old Myrtle Square Mall site on North Kings Highway. Organizers expect roughly 2,700 registered Jeeps and more than 120 vendors, with the Proving Grounds obstacle course and mud pit as the main event, a Show-N-Grime show for Jeeps with character, and a sunrise Beach Crawl on Thursday October 29 for registered Jeeps. Spectators are welcome — one-day wristbands run about $10 and kids 12 and under are free. MBU's full insider guide is the Jeep Jam 2026 hub, and registration and tickets are at mbjeepjam.com.
So where is Truck Week?
Fair question, because MBU gets it. Right now there is no standalone, currently-running Myrtle Beach truck week to put on this calendar — the truck shows here ride inside the bigger ones. Vintage trucks headline half of Run to the Sun, C-10s at the Beach runs with Cruisin' the Beach, and Jeep Jam is wall-to-wall lifted 4x4s for three days. If a real truck week plants a flag on the Strand, this page gets updated and it gets its own section. That is a promise, not a placeholder.
Making a weekend of it
- Book rooms early for the big three. Run to the Sun, Spring Rally, and Jeep Jam weekends fill the central Myrtle Beach hotels first. Fall Rally and the October shows are easier, but not by much.
- Highway 17 is the bottleneck. Every show on this list sits on or just off Kings Highway. Arrive before the gates, or come in on the bypass and cut over.
- Dates move a little year to year. Every date above was checked against the organizer in October 2026. Before booking a trip around any of them, confirm on the organizer's site, and check What's Poppin the week of — cruise nights, after-parties, and one-off shows land there as they are announced.
- Spectating is cheap. Most of these shows are free or close to it for folks on foot. The expensive part is leaving wanting a project car, and MBU cannot help with that.
Ten shows, seven months, one stretch of coast. Which week is yours — classics, bikes, Jeeps, or Mopar?
